PB Time

Didn't have the best of sleep last night as a mozzie decided to munch on me during the night and the woke with a really bad cramp in my left calf. Just hope it doesn't slow my training down.

Half lemon in warm water

I had failed my first attempt at 185 and thought no way is this coming up today. 1 of the body builders in our gym Andrew Kim gave me some advice on my technique and got me to try again. His tip definitely helped and it came up. Was so happy with this.

Squat cleans (8x3 same weight)
70kg
I have never really worked with squat cleans before as I know their another weakness of mine. But from now I will start working them more.

Warm up 600m run

Front squats taken from the rack and unbroken.
All runs @ 17km/h

Meal 3
1/4 chicken
Broccolini
Sweet potato fries
Half avocado
Cucumber

Snacks figs x 4 + 2 hand full of nuts.

Meal 4
Beef stir fry with veg

Been thinking about having some treats all day so decided why not make my own.
Terry's Chocolate Orange Bars

Makes 22 slices
Ingredients:
2 Cup Mixed nuts
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
12 Pitted Dates
7 figs
1/2 Cup Almond meal
Juice of 1 Orange
Zest of 1/2 Orange
2 Tbsp Natural Cocoa Powder
1/3 cup of honey
A sprinkle of coconut
A sprinkle of cinnamon

Directions:
Place all ingredients into your food processor and blend until doughy consistency (not completely smooth).
Place dough on a cutting board.
Taking a piece of saran wrap press dough down and out until you reach necessary thickness.
Place in oven on 200 for 20min.
Using a knife cut bars into serving sized pieces.
Sprinkle cinnamon and coconut.

Store in the refrigerator.
Enjoy!
