Half Marathon Training
So this morning I woke up and there was no eggs in the house so was
gonna go for some oats but then thought. I wanna do a run this evening
with no carbs in my body. Yesterday I had some sweet potato once with
lunch and had a slice of rhy bread today with my omelet for breakfast.
Ended up going out for breakfast. For lunch just had some chicken and
salad. I wanted to see how my body would run more less carb free.
We only went at a steady pace but had lots of hills and stairs.
Last 3k or so was a fucking nightmare as most up it was at a slight
incline. Legs were already fried from yesterday and was nearly gonna
pull out of the run cus of it. But didn't. I don't like running and I
think I only do it because I don't like it . It's more mental training
than physical for me as I get board.
Last couple of k's started to
really burn my legs and I'll I kept thinking was buying a coconut at the
shop when I finished. Mouth was dry and lips were starting to burn. I
managed to get to the end and actually felt so dizzy. Of course they had
no fucking coconuts. Well freaked. Had a powerade instead and that
quickly sorted my head out.
Half marathon is next week so that's why
I did this run. I haven't run in the last few weeks and needed to push
out something big so managed 20k in just over 2 hours.
